An early morning and a heavy haul into the field produced many smiles for youth hunters! I had an opportunity to take four youth hunters on a field hunt for ducks and geese. We set up in a flooded soybean field in southeastern Wisconsin.
Recently, Pat had the opportunity to visit Gaston's White River Resort and spend some time trout fishing with other outdoor communicators from throughout the country. He followed that up with turkey hunting in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
It's that time of year again. Turkey hunting! As I'm preparing my gear, I'm reminded of a handy item that hunters may overlook. Frabill shelter lights (model #1610) are perfect in the turkey blind!
I always have mine handy for early-morning set-up. It velcros snug to the frame of my blind and I can pivot the light pod in any direction so I'm able to get my equipment in order without fumbling around in darkness.
