A big thank you to Sheboygan chapter Great Lakes Sport Fisherman 4 again providing ride a Charter evening on shores of Lake Michigan Sheboygan Wisconsin in front of The Wharf Bait and Tackle
This weekend we managed to get out a couple times on the water, and we started the season off great!
We hope you join us on the trips to come, because it is going to be a great year!
The river is really heating up! We are catching many northern pike, smallmouth bass, brown trout and king salmon. More and more kings and cohos are showing up for the fall spawn which will only make the fishing better in the next couple of weeks.
Fishing is crazy good for big salmon now! Big kings in shallow water during low-light hours have been best the past couple of weeks.
Fishing has been steadily picking up with consistent rainbow and lake trout action. Some king salmon have been showing up and with warm weather upon us the action should consistently be getting better.
Walleyes have started their spawning as water temps are just getting to their low end spawning temperatures. The males are abundant and it won't be long before even more females will be caught.
The recent rains and warm weather have pushed some brown and rainbow trout into the rivers. These fish are preparing to spawn and are a lot of fun to catch on light spinning tackle. Finding the fish can be tough with the low water and lack of current but try floating spawn and casting crank baits and spinners to land a few of these trout.
Last Fall, a group of talented outdoors communicators from around the Midwest visited Sheboygan and spent a few days with the Wolf Pack on the Sheboygan River...
