What is provided for my fishing adventure?
Wolf Pack provides all necessary fishing equipment, baits, guide expertise, and insight, and the adventure of a lifetime! Salmon and trout from Lake Michigan charters are cleaned and bagged to take home. Box lunch and beverage options are available for an additional charge.
What about fish cleaning?
Salmon and trout from Lake Michigan charters are cleaned and bagged. Please bring a cooler to transport your fish home; shipping is available for an additional charge. For all other fishing trips, fish cleaning is not included but can be arranged for an additional charge.
What should I bring for my open-water fishing adventure?
We suggest you bring rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, soft-soled shoes, camera, food, beverages, coolers to take your catch home, and a Wisconsin fishing license. If your adventure is on the main lake or tributaries of Lake Michigan, a Great Lakes trout and salmon stamp is required. A fishing license is not required for fishing on our private lakes. Resident licenses can be purchased online at gowild.wi.gov. Non-resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov.
What should I bring for my ice fishing adventure?
We suggest you bring warm clothes, thick-soled warm boots, sunglasses, camera, food, beverages, cooler to take your catch home, and a Wisconsin fishing license. Resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov. Non-resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov.
Do I need a fishing license?
Most of our fishing adventures require a Wisconsin fishing license. Fishing on the main lake or tributaries of Lake Michigan also requires a Great Lakes trout and salmon stamp. A fishing license is not required for fishing on our private lakes. Licenses can be bought online or at local bait shops, however the bait shops are not open for licenses before morning trips. Please plan to purchase your license ahead of time. Resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov. Non-resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov.
What is provided for my hunting adventure?
Wolf Pack provides decoys and setting instructions, calls and calling instructions from award-winning callers, hot Torke coffee, a fully-licensed professional guide, and the adventure of a lifetime! Waterfowl adventures include a fully-equipped hunting boat and professionally-trained Labrador Retriever.
What should I bring for my hunting adventure?
You will need camouflage clothing, gun of your choice which has a plug to make you legal (we recommend 20-gauge or 12-gauge), ammo of your choice (we recommend shot size 2-4), camera, food, beverages, and all required licenses for Wisconsin waterfowl or turkey hunting.
Do I need a hunting license?
Yes. Please plan to purchase your license ahead of time. Resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov. Non-resident licenses can be purchased go wild.wi.gov. You will need a license as well as state and federal migratory waterfowl stamps or turkey stamps.
Where should I meet my guide?
This depends on the trip. Wolf Pack I and Wolf Pack II, our big rig Lake Michigan charter boats, are docked on the Sheboygan River, Port of Sheboygan – plan to meet us dockside along the river at 644 S. Pier Drive, Sheboygan, WI 53081. For all other reservations, you can expect a communication from your guide a few days before your adventure telling you where to meet.
What time should I arrive for my trip?
Typically, you should plan to meet your guide 15-30 minutes before your trip.
Should I pack food and beverages?
There is room on the boats to accommodate a cooler with food and beverages for your group. For river trips, you can carry food and beverages to the river and leave them on shore.
Can we bring alcoholic beverages on our trip?
Yes.
How/When will I pay for my trip?
A deposit is required within 10 days of booking to hold your date. The remainder is due on the day of your trip. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card.
What about a tip?
Thank you for asking. The first mate’s wage is mostly based off of their tips. A typical tip is 20-30% of the cost of your trip, or more is appreciated if you think it’s warranted.
What is your cancellation policy?
Wolf Pack's cancellation charges:
Cancellation more than a month out, no change
Cancellation less than a week out, $100
Cancellation 1 day out, half of the cost of scheduled trip
No show, full charge of scheduled trip
Where can we have a fresh salmon dinner in Sheboygan?
Anglers Avenue will grill your catch! Have your fish cleaned and drop it off at Anglers Avenue (510 S. Pier Drive, Sheboygan, WI, 53081).
Do you have recommendations for other things to do in the area?
While you’re visiting, play a round of golf, check out the races, relax at the spa, go for a bike ride, take a nature hike, celebrate at a festival, go wild at the zoo, do the Lambeau Leap, or enjoy a brat and beer. Explore all there is to do nearby:
